Opening for an advanced student!!!
My practice: two year old free standing birth center. We are currently attending an average of 20 clients per year, and are actively working on growth and marketing. Our culture is inclusive and socially aware.
The advanced student position is a *paid* position. An ideal candidate would be someone who already has some skills in injections, vital signs, monitoring of both clients in labor and postpartum, IVs, and venipuncture. I am a registered NARM preceptor.
About our community: Shreveport is a mid sized city in NW Louisiana (literally as far away as you can get from New Orleans!) We have a low cost of living and a pretty large low income population. There is a great group of folks in our area working to make this a better place to be! Mild winters, HOT summers! Easy to get around. Weekender road trip ability to lots of great spots: Houston, Austin, DFW, Broken Bow, OK, Little Rock, New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Lafayette, and Gulf Coast beaches (7-10 hours away depending on where you want to go!)
